Arkan International Company for Domestic and Foreign Trade is an investment company owned by the Veyse Al-Qarni Endowment. The Board of Directors is comprised of an elite group of Yemeni experts, businessmen, and lovers of Yemen, all of whom possess high competence and extensive experience in various investment fields. The company specializes in developing the Endowment’s resources, acting as a financial investment endowment institution.
The Board of Directors of Arkan International Company prepares feasibility studies and approves projects that utilize endowment products for the Veyse Al-Qarni Endowment, managing and supervising these projects in accordance with investment regulations.
Blessed Tree Project
The Blessed Tree Olive Oil Project is considered one of the most important Endowment (Waqf) investment initiatives. The project’s concept is based on investing in the cultivation and production of olive oil by purchasing and investing in productive olive groves, ensuring the trees are no less than ten years old to guarantee crop quality and production stability.
The project represents an outstanding model for sustainable Endowment investment, as its entire revenue is directed to support the Pioneers of Yemen Program. This program works to provide qualitative education to talented and high-achieving Yemeni youth at elite international universities, preparing them to become future leaders.
Thus, the project becomes an ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) for the endowers, as well as a sustainable investment asset that yields knowledge, blessing, and extended benefit for as long as God wills.
